ABOUT

For Alex Aréstegui, sound is a way to capture a feeling: the shared yearning for an impactful, evocative moment in time. Drawing from a deep well of influences—from the energy of Trance and New Age to the unforgettable sounds of the 80s, 90s and 00s—he creates rich, evocative soundscapes.

A songwriter since age 10, Alex’s journey has included playing keys for the indie synthrock band Jupiter Is Useless in high school and releasing his debut album, Proem, in 2005. Based in Colorado, he continues to explore a variety of styles, using intricate textures and melodies to connect with listeners on a timeless, emotional level.
